Ex- Governor of Abia Stare, Senator Theodore Orji was on Thursday morning arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC .
Orji who was taken away at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to the EFCC headquarters in Jabi in Abuja is being interrogated along with his son,Chinedu the current Speaker of the Abia Stare House of Assembly over financial crimes.
Orji is alleged to have collected N500 million monthly as security vote for eight years he served as governor
The former governor is also alleged to have converted the Sure P Fund and mismanaged the N2 billion ecological funds.
