President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday morning received their first Oxford/ AstraZeneca vaccine shots.
The shots were administered by their personal physicians at the State House, Presidential villa,Abuja.
Speaking before the vaccine shots, the Minister of Health,Dr Osagie Ehanire underscores the safety and efficacy of the vaccine adding that Covid-19 vaccines were the first to be developed within the shortest possible time as others took at least four years to be developed.
