Buhari directs NYSC to enroll Corps members into National Health Insurance Scheme
A Presidential directive has made enrollment of National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC) members into the National Heath Insurance Scheme imperative.
This was made known by the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier- General Shuaibu Ibrahim, during a meeting with stakeholders in the media on Monday.
Ibrahim said that the NYSC has concluded arrangements with the NHIS for the enrollment of corps members in line with the directive adding that it has also “mapped out huge resources that would be deployed to critical health needs of corp members including footing of medical bills “
According to him, the NYSC remains committed to the task of mentoring Nigerian Youths to promote national unity and development .
