The death of a teenager in police custody in Kano has sparked violent protests by youths on streets at Kofar Mata area of Kano metropolis.
The deceased identified as Saufullahi,was picked up by the police at his residence at Kofar Mata two days ago and admitted in bail, but was re-arrested and his corpse returned Monday morning.
The Kano State Police have deployed men and officers to the area to forestall breakdown of law and order.
