
Barely a week after the Kaduna State government announced Nuhu Bamalli as the 19th Emir if Zaria following the death of Shehu Idris in September,2020, one of the contender’s to the emirare,Iya Zazzau, Alhaji Bashar Aminu has dragged the Kaduna State government to Court saying he is the right man to be crowned.
Aminu who is challenging the appointment of Bamalli as the new Emir said that that he got the highest votes among other two contestants who were screened along with him thereby making him the choice of the kingmakers
for the next King of Zazzau and wondered why he was abandoned by the state government
Others who contested the kingship with him are Muhammed Munir Ja’afaru,Yarima Zazzau and Alhaji Shehu Idris,Turakin Karamin Zazzau.
