
Results of the just concluded election in Ondo State have begun to trickle in with the incumbent governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress APC in early lead.
The keenly contested election has the governor, and the candidates of the Peoples Democratic party PDP, Eyitayo Jegede and Agboola Ajayi of the ZLP as top challengers.
Akeredolu is reportedly leading in results announced in 606 out of 3000 polling units so far collated.
Akeredolu currently has 63,590 votes while his closest challenger, Jegede 40,027. leaving Ajayi with 11,603 votes.
