
A colonel in the Nigerian Army has been abducted by bandits in an ambush along Abuja-Kaduna Highway.
Military sources reportedly said that the Colonel,S.B. Onifade, was on a trip through the highway at about 3:a.m on September 27 when he was kidnapped.and he has not been found
The kidnapped military officer was said to be in mufti when the abduction occured near the Olams Farms axis of the Highway.
The Army is yet to make official announcement in relation to the abduction but it was gathered that the development has prompted it to issue a warning to officers to be cautious about road trips.
