
The Hausa section of Igbudu Market in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, is said to be under tension following the killing of the Chief Priest of the community by hoodlums who are believed to be members of the Hausa community.
It was gathered that the Chief Priest identified as Victor,was attacked and stabbed to death for allegedly impregnating and abandoning a Hausa Lady.
The deceased said to be a grandson of the late Alawuru of the community, was said to be at a carnival at Digbori street off Hausa quaters when he was attacked and killed.
According to reports, the death of Victor has thrown residents into a state of nervousness for fear of reprisal attacks by youths of Igbudu community.
