Hanan, pretty daughter of the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and his one and only wife,Aisha, lawfully wedded Mohammed Turad Sha’aban ,last weekend.
The wedding though low keyed perhaps in line with covid protocols, however had an assembly of the crème de la crème of society.
It was an event that fostered interaction among men and women.it was an occasion for business as well.
As usual,only those invited were allowed to witness the much talked about wedding under Covid-19 pandemic as eagle-eyed DSS operatives were ready to bounce any one without an invite. Handbags are a woman’s companion but going to such high profile wedding with handbags is prohibited and likened to the biblical camel passing through the eye of the needle. If you own oil wells,or you are a shipping Magnate or colossus of industries like Dangote, better still a Senior Minister, then you might have a waiver at the Security check. It is not their fault at all ,they were only doing their duty to protect the first family.
Hanan is fortunate to marry the love of heart at age 22. Before she said I do to Mohammed, she already graduated from a prestigious school in England (RavensBourne University where she passed out with first class hons in Photography and media.
Her husband, Mohammed is also distinguished in his field having worked in many places in and outside the shores of the country, the present being Special Adviser to the Minister of State for Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola.
The venue was decorated beautifully while the colourful dressing of family, guests and music performance made the programme memorable.
