The National Agency for the Prohibition of trafficking in Persons NAPTIP, has arrested a 35 year old teacher, Ibrahim Mohammed of Unguwar Kadawa Quaters in Kano, for allegedly sodomising two boys.
NAPTIP Zonal Commander in charge of Kano, Shehu Umar who confirmed the incident to reporters on Friday, said.the command on August 25, received information that Mohammed sodomised two students at Unguwar Kadawa,Kwanar Dillalai Quaters in Kano.
He said on receiving the information, the command swung into action,arrested the suspect and rescued the victims.
According to him, the suspect was married and had been an Islamic teacher for 7 years.
Umar said the offence is punishable under the NAPTIP Act.adding that Investigation is ongoing and when completed, the suspect would be charged to court while the victims would be united with their parents
