A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Gidan Murtala, Kano presided over by Rakiya Lami Sani, on Wednesday,restrained owners of luxurious buses from commercial activities any where in the state.
The suspension followed an ex-parte application made by Mutawakkil Isaq Muhammad, Principal State Counsel, Ministry of Justice,Kano and Secretary/Legal Adviser of Kankia Road Traffic Agency( KAROTA) seeking the court to suspend luxurious buses operations in the state pending the outcome of a hearing in motion.
The Luxurious buses owners had reportedly refused to relocate from their present location, Sabon Gari Park to Unguwa Uku motor park despite KAROTA directing them to do so.
