The Head of Sabon Gari community on Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State,Yau Mohammed has been suspended from office for alleged child trafficking.
Mohammed is reportedly being
investigated by the National Agency for the Prohibition of trafficking in Persons,NAPTIP
The suspended village head was said to have collaborated with the Fagge Hisbah commander,Jamilu Yusuf to sell a little chid for N20,000.
, In a statement on Tuesday, the secretary to the Galadiman Kano,Abibas Sunusi said the village council decided to suspend Mohammed pending the outcome of Investigation by NAPTIP.
