Emmanuel Abasirim, a native of Eziama Ogberuru in Orlu local government area of Imo State has been banished from his community after he confessed to commiting various crimes
Emmanuel was said to be one of the most dreaded men in the community as a result of evil deeds.that threatened the peace of the community
He was said to have poisoned people and sending them to early graves in addition to using charms known as”Achaere” on women especially widows and underaged girls, to sleep with them.
Men women, and children held their hands and sent Emmanuel out of the community.and he is only expected to return after 7years.
However, it was learnt that the banishment affected only him and not his family members as they are allowed to remain in the village.
