
A baby boy in Amakocha-Ubi,in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State has drowned in a gully erosion in their community when he was returning from farm with his mother.
The boy was said to have gone to farm with his mother in the neighbouring village of Obiokwu where the erosion is extremely bad as people always fall inside when they are trying to cross it on their way back from their farms.
Report has it that apart from the boy who died , there were others who sustained injuries from the deadly gully .
The community is said to be standing on an erosion that is destroying the foundation of the buildings and the people have cried out severally for intervention.
