Ahead of Ondo APC primary: Akeredolu confesses, says he made a wrong choice in his Deputy. 

The governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has expressed regret over the choice of his Deputy, Agboola Ajayi,

Akeredolu disclosed this while meeting party delegates in Ese-Odo council area of Ondo State ahead of the party primaries

The Governor said”Despite the criticism and attack from various quarters that Ajayi is my cousin, I felt I had made a choice,but a wrong choice’

He said he was happy that his deputy showed his true colours, adding that his exit is a cleansing

Agboola defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic party PDP in June and has not left anyone in doubt of his desire to wrest power from his Boss.

The two men had locked themselves in a political imbroglio which resulted in impeachment moves against the deputy governor.
