Omega Power Ministry (OPM)has shut down its specialist hospital located in Aluu community in Rivers State due to high levy imposed by the host community.
Leader of OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere disclosed this during a press briefing on Saturday at his residence.
He said the decision was informed by the outrageous levy imposed By community leaders in the Hospital location
” With a heavy heart,l the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere have decided to close down the free hospital in Aluu community with effect from Sunday July 5,2020′
“This very decision was taken as a result of levies charged by Aluu community to OPM free hospital’
Chinyere said that the hospital renders free services in registration,antenatal care,and post natal care as well as delivery of which the Aluu community is a major beneficiary.
He sued for cordial relations between the church and the community and called the State government to intervene
