President Muhammadu Buhari says his belief In the rule of law is non negotiable.
To this end he said Giadom as empowered by a court action is the authentic Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
Presidential Spokesman,Garba Shehu made this known to State House Correspondents in Abuja on Wednesday.
He warned the media from heating up the polity with misinterpretation of facts as the law is clear on the matter.
In addition to the President, the Giadom meeting will be attended by our Governors and National Assembly leaders Shehu said.
The President’s decision has ended leadership crisis in the All Progressives Congress following the affirmation of suspension of Adams Oshiomole as the National Chairman of the APC
A lower Court had upheld Oshiomole’s suspension by his ward in Edo State
Following the suspension of Oshiomole, Giadom had declared himself the Acting National Chairman, saying a high court order had empowered him to preside over the affairs of the party.
This was seen as an affront by some members of the party.the party became factionalized, with 3 groups claiming right to the Acting National Chairmanship of the party
And leaders who watched how the party was riddled in crisis,on daily took their pain to Mr President for intervention.
Top among them are Senate President, Ahmed Lawan and governors under the aegis of All Progressives Congress APC.
The result was the sealing of the party secretariat in Abuja.
