India opens Health Facility with 10,000 beds to fight covid-19.
The hospital is the largest hospital in India and one of the largest in the world.
The Delhi government said the Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre located in Delhi became operational on Sunday with 2,000 of its 10,000 beds available.
The government said the remaining 8,000 beds at the facility in the Chatanpur area of Delhi will be in use from Wednesday.
India’s home Minister Amit Shar has said that the 10,000 bed facility would provide huge relief to the people .
The coronavirus is taking a huge toll on the country with reports of spikes in single day cases
Recent statistics on covid 19 in India reveals a confirmation of 529k cases ,310 k discharged cases and 16,095 deaths.
