
Delta State Government has unravelled the cause of mysterious deaths in the state.
The Commissioner for Health,Dr Mordi Ononye said test conducted by the government to ascertain the mysterious deaths recorded in Ute-Okpu and Idumesa communites in Ika North East Local Government Area of the state came back positive for Yellow Fever Disease.
Briefing newsmen in Asaba, the state capital,on Friday, Ononye said that 22 deaths have so far been recorded with seven active cases receiving treatment in hospitals across the state.
According to him, the state Health officials are awaiting further authentication from the Regional Test Center in Dakar, Senegal.
