A fire tragedy in an Islamiya school in Kaura -Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara state has resulted in the death of 17 children.
The incident which reportedly happened on Tuesday night lasted for about three hours .
About 100 children were housed in the building engulfed by the fire. It was gathered that efforts were made to evacuate all the students but unknown to those who carried out the evacuation, the 17 students were left behind and burnt without recognition.
The victims were buried Wednesday according to Islamic rites.
