US Closes Embassy in Ukraine Capital as War Escalates.

The United States Embassy in Kyiv , Ukraine’s capital has announced that it would close today following ” specific information of a potential significant air attack.

Already, the Greek, Spanish and Italian embassies in the city are shut for security reasons.

On Tuesday, Ukraine fired the U.S long – range missiles into Russia,a measure Russia vows to retaliate with nuclear weapons.

According to the US Defense Secretary,Lyord Austin,the White House will today announce a support package worth $275 million for Ukraine which will include munitions for rockets and military and anti – tank weapons.

Additionally, the US has approved sending anti – personnel mines to Ukraine for the first time, current matters learned.
