
The Mangu Local Government Area has again been hit by another bloodshed as armed men attacked Kulben community in the Gindiri district of the LGA killing 10 people .
Local sources told our reporter that the gunmen stormed the community and announced their presence shooting sporadically on Sunday night.
It was gathered that the villages on sensing trouble ran for safety while some alerted the police of the incident.

But by the time the police made their way into the community, the invaders had gone leaving 10 persons dead and one critically injured.
The Police has reportedly staged a manhunt for the Intruders who, some villages suspect to be herdsmen.
Plateau is one of the states with lush lands suitable for the grazing of cattle and massive cultivation of Agricultural products and therefore,a foodbasket of the nation but the incessant killings in Mangu and other Lgas allegedly by Fulani militias leaves a question mark on the security situation.
Reports indicate that over two hundred persons were slaughtered under two weeks in Mangu with several houses burnt promoting the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN , Archbishop Daniel Okoh to raise an alarm in a statement in May.
Okoh condemned the killing in totality saying that the recent resurgence of mindless killings of innocent citizens in Mangu and Riyom Local Government Areas of the state should be addressed immediately and the perpetrators brought to book.
” We condemn these barbaric acts in the strongest terms possible. It is disheartening to see innocent citizens being killed and their properties destroyed in such a gruesome manner.
” While we appreciate the efforts of the security forces to maintain peace,we call on the government and law enforcement agencies to bring the perpetrators of these heinous acts to justice and to ensure the protection of lives and property of all citizens.
Pained by the orgy of violence and reprisals in plateau and Benue states ,President Bola Tinubu in July ordered the security agencies to fish out killers while urging peaceful coexistence in communities.
