
The Seven States of the federation which filed a suit seeking to nullify the election of Senator Bola Tinubu as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have withdrawn their suit.
The states,all governed the Peoples Democratic Party PDP are ; Adamawa Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Taraba and Sokoto-
The states had claimed that the election results from the 36 states of the federation and the FCT, failed the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC integrity test as they were not properly transmitted and collated .
In a notice of discontinuance signed by their lawyer, Mr. Mike Ozekhome SAN on Friday reads: “Take notice that the plaintiffs doth hereby wholly discontinue this suit against the defendant herein.” ,
