The member representing Bungudu/ Maru Federal Constituency in the of House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zanna Bungudu, has distributed 100 vehicles to constituents in Zamfara as part of efforts to strengthen support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
Bungudu also distributed sewing machines, computers, motorcycles, generators and transformers to beneficiaries as part of his empowerment programme. The distribution ceremony, held in Bungudu on Thursday, was attended by Governor Dauda Lawal and former Governor of the state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari.
Speaking at the event, Bungudu said the vehicles were provided to boost the activities of APC supporters in his constituency ahead of the 2027 elections. He said the other items were intended to support women, youths and vulnerable households to become self-reliant and improve their livelihoods. “Other items distributed are part of empowerment to assist women, youths and vulnerable households to become self-reliant,” he said. The lawmaker said the intervention was part of his efforts to improve the welfare of constituents and provide them with tools capable of supporting their economic activities. In separate remarks, Governor Dauda Lawal and Senator Abdulaziz Yari commended the Hon . Bungudu for the initiative.
