Angry residents at Ani street along Ikom – Obudu road in Cross River State on Friday, June 5,2026 swooped on an elderly commercial Akara ( beancake) and bread seller for allegedly mixing human faeces with her ground beans to fry akara that” she sells to the public”.
According to an X user,” the residents and customers confronted the woman after she was seen mixing the beans with a secret ingredient before frying the akara balls. Upon being suspicious, they” demanded to see what she was hiding . She initially refused , but they forcefully opened her secret container , exposing the disgusting” content” to everyone.”
