Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara will later today at the executive chambers of Government House swear in two key officers of his administration.
They are the new Chief of Staff, Government House, and the Secretary to the State Government.
A Government statement issued in Port Harcourt announced that the governor has appointed Dr Dagogo S.A. Wokoma as the new Secretary to the State Government and Barrister Sunny Ewule as his Chief of Staff.

The statement said the new appointees “will be sworn in at 2:00 pm today, Thursday February 26, 2026 at the Executive Chamber of Government House, Port Harcourt. “
The appointments come amid a peace deal brokered by President Bola Tinubu ,a development many believe would oust the more than two years old political crisis and engender lasting peace and progress in the state.
