Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has convicted Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB.on offences bordering on terrorism.

The Judge in his ongoing judgement in the trial of Kanu on Thursday found him guilty in three of the seven -count charge preferred against him by the Department of State Services DSS.

The court held that Kanu’s threats of violence and killings including the declaration of sit – at – home in the South East in his many broadcasts constituted acts of terrorism

Earlier, Justice Omotosho had ordered Kanu out of the courtroom for what he described as unruly behaviour by the IPOB leader midway through the court proceedings.

The Judge had moved to deliver the ruling but Kanu argued that the court could not proceed because he was yet to file his final written address

Kanu, raising his voice, accused Justice Omotosho of being biased claiming that the trial judge lacks knowledge of the law.

Kanu was subsequently ordered out of the courtroom while the Judge proceeded to deliver the judgement.
