The Police Command in Borno State has confirmed the death of four persons in another Improvised Explosive Device, IED, in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
A statement by the Borno State Police Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, said the incident occurred Wednesday, 25th June, at about 12.30pm.
The statement said an Isuzu pickup vehicle with registration number DAM 156 XA (Borno), conveying passengers from Damboa to Maiduguri, on reaching Komala Village, in Konduga Local Government Area, struck an Improvised Explosive Device, suspected to have been planted by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists.
