The House of Representatives says all members of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP serving various Federal constituencies in the House have officially defected to the All Progressives Congress APC.
The Speaker of the House,Tajudeen Abass disclosed this during plenary on Tuesday.
Last Monday, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, his predecessor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and all elected and appointed officials at the state level officially defected and were received by a high – level APC team led by Vice President,Kashim Shettima in Asaba, the Delta state capital.
According to analysts,more defections are underway as the political trajectory gears towards a one party state ahead of 2027 election.
