No fewer than 8 security personnel have been killed in Imo state on Tuesday by gunmen suspected to be mambers of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB and the Eastern Security Network ESN
The incident which happened at Umualumaku community in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area involved a combined team of security personnel including soldiers, police officers, and members of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
It was gathered that the gunmen ambushed the two trucks conveying the joint security taskforce team ,shot them and set their trucks ablaze..
There was no survivor as all of them were burnt inside their trucks.
A video clip of the tragic killing which has gone viral showed the trucks burning with a passerby expressing shock exclaiming ” Jesus Christ”. while others steadily looked at the gory incident.
