FUEL SUBSIDY: Public Servants In Kwara To Work 3 Days Per Week.
Following the  astronomical hike in transport fares, the Kwara State Government has reduced the 5 working days to 3.


The Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole  who made the announcement Monday said that the State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazak gave the directive to ease the hardship being experienced by the state workers as a result of the removal of the fuel subsidy announced by the Federal Government in the country.

Mrs Oluwole directed all Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the State to immediately work out a format indicating the alternating work days for each worker under them.
While warning the workers not to abuse the magnanimity of the Governor,  the Head of Service said that the regular monitoring of MDAs by her office would be intensified to ensure strict compliance.
