Ahead of the March 18 gubernatorial election, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has reportedly posted a new Returning Officer to Rivers State.
Although no reason was given for the posting ,yet the threat to life of the former Returning officer and Vice Chancellor of the University of Otuoke,Prof Teddy Charles Adia may have gingered the development.
The new Returning Officer is Prof. Charles Esimone of Nnamdi Azikiwe University ( Unizik) Awka.
