Tennis star, Novak Djokovic has won the 2023 Australian Open Men singles Grand Slam title.
Djokovic beat Stephano Tsitsipas 6-3,7-6(4),7-6(5) on Sunday at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne , Australia.
Djokovic has by this feat equalled Spanish star, Rafael Nadal with 22 grand slam titles and will step in as World No 1.in new ranking.
The 35- old Serbian professional was disallowed to play in 2022 tournament in Australia and was deported due to breaches of COVID -19 guidelines.
He is the first in the history of tennis to win 10 Australian Grand Slam titles.
