
The Management of the West African Examination Council, WAEC says no life was lost in Wednesday’s early morning fire that engulfed its National office in Lagos.
A statement signed by the Head, Public Affairs Department of the Council,Moyosola Adesina said a combined team of firefighters helped to quickly put out the fire.
” The Management of the West African Examination Council ( WAEC), wishes to use this mediums to inform the general public that there was an early morning fire incident at the WAEC National Offiy,Yaba, Lagos. It was swiftly contained by a combined team of firefighters.
” Thankfully, no life was lost and all important documents and records are intact”
