Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Funminiyi Afuye,is dead
Afuye, a chieftain of All Progressives Congress APC who represents Ikere constituency 1, died at the age of 66, after a brief illness.
The deceased was reportedly rushed to the hospital, on Wednesday, after developing complications over undisclosed ailment.
He , was said to have died after attempts by medical doctors to save his life failed.
The late Speaker attended the inauguration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, on Sunday. He was said to have also attended plenary on Tuesday before his sudden death.
