A High Court sitting in Abuja has disqualified the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State,Mr Sheriff Oborevwori.
This followed a suit filed by a former Commissioner of Finance in the state, David Edevbie who is an ally of James Ibori,a former governor of the state.
Oborevwori is Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and annointed successor to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
In his ruling, Justice Tanko Taiwo also restrained Oborevwori from parading as the Governorship Candidate of the PDP in the 2023 General Election.
