Operatives of the Ondo branch of the Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed Amotekun have arrested a number of suspected killers of worshippers at St Francis Catholic Church,Owo Ondo State.
The Commander of the State branch of the Outfit,Chief Adetunji Adeleye made this known in Akure on Thursday
He said ” We have also recovered the vehicles they used last after the deadly operations.We have recovered some of their weapons .
” They came on Motorcycles and hijacked a Golf vehicle “
He said the security outfit has successfully recovered the vehicle and would soon arrest all the perpetrators of the dastardly act .
Gunmen two weeks ago invaded St Francis Catholic Church, Owo and killed no fewer than 40 worshippers and left scores injured.
