… reschedules Governorship and House of Representatives primaries for May 26.
The All Progressives Congress( APC) has approved adjustment of timetable for primaries for Governorship, House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, Presidential and Appeals.
Under the new arrangement, Governorship and House of Representatives primaries will hold on Thursday 26th May 2022 , Senate and House of Assembly primaries to hold on May 27,2022 while special Convention for Presidential primaries will hold on Sunday May 29 to May 30,2022.
The APC National Publicity Secretary,Felix Morka in a statement on Wednesday evening said the adjustment was neccessary to give the party more time to sort out internal issues before the primaries.
