Newly sworn in National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and his Deputy, Senator Abubakar Kyari have officially resigned from the Senate.
In separate letters read by the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan at plenary on Tuesday, the Senators said that their resignation followed their emergence as National Chairman and Deputy National Chairman of the APC. respectively.
Adamu, a former governor of Nasarawa State represented Nasarawa West at the red chamber while Kyari represented Borno North.
