
According to the Kyiv Independent,a Ukrainian media outlet, Russia has so far lost a total of 18,000 troops,143 planes and 134 Helicopters in its invasion of Ukraine which began in the morning of 24th February, 2022.
The Kremlin has also lost 644 tanks,125 artillery pieces,1,830 armoured personnel carriers and 4 mobile SRBM system
Other losses for Russia include 105 MLRS,7 boats,1,249 vehicles and 76 fuel tank,.89 UAV,54 anti-aircraft warfare and 24 special equipment.

On Saturday, Ukrainian authorities announced that they have successfully pushed back Russia’s army from the capital Kyiv and other areas.
Over 4 million Ukrainians have fled the country to neighbouring countries while civilian deaths are said to have reached record level.
