The All Progressives Congress APC has zoned National Chairman to North Central, comprising Benue, Plateau,Kogi, Niger and Kwara.
Other offices zoned to the North Central are Deputy National Secretary, Deputy National Legal Adviser and Deputy National Publicity Secretary
The latest development comes a day after some leaders of the party met with President Muhammadu Buhari to agree on a power sharing formula among all geo-political zones.
Under the new arrangement, the offces of the National Publicity Secretary, National Woman Leader, Deputy National Treasurer and Deputy National Welfare Secretary are zoned to the South South which comprises Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta,Cross Rivers,Edo and Rivers
South West has National Secretary, National Youth Leader and Deputy National Auditor
States in the zone are Ekiti,Osun,Oyo,Ogun Ondo and Lagos
The Party zoned the positions of Deputy National Chairman, National Treasurer, National Welfare Secretary and Deputy National Organising Secretary to the South East.
The positions zoned to the North East are, Deputy National Chairman ( North), National Auditor, Deputy National Financial Secretary and Deputy National Women Leader
States in the zone are Adamawa, Bauchi,Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe
North West has the positions of National Legal Adviser, National Organising Secretary, National Financial Secretary and Deputy National Youth Leader
States under the zone are Jigawa, Kaduna,Katsina,Kano,Kebbi and Sokoto.
Each zone has a National Vice Chairman.
