
The Nigerian Labour Congress ( NLC has suspended its planned nationwide protest scheduled to hold on 27 th January,2022.
The Union has also called off the follow-up protest slated for February 2nd in Abuja.
NLC President, Ayuba Wabba who made the announcement on Tuesday said the decision followed a virtual meeting of the National Executive Council on Tuesday.
The suspension of the protest comes less than 24 hours after the Federal Government announced that it would allow continuation of fuel subsidy.
