
Kaduna state Governor,Nasir El-Rufai has directed all public schools in the state to operate four working days in a week.
By the directive, schools will now be operating only from Monday to Thursday .
This was contained in a notice for resumption of school for the second term academic session 2021/2022 beginning January 10, by the Commissioner for Education,Halima Lawal .
Governor El- Rufai had given a similar directive barely six weeks ago directing a four day working week for all civil servants in the state
The decision, his Spokesman,Muyiwa Adekeye explained was to enable civil servants to have more time for their families, rest and work in their farms .
