Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP are meeting on Wednesday to discuss lingering issues affecting the party.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Director General of the PDP Governors Forum Hon. CID Maduabum said the meeting would be third gathering of the PDP governors within four weeks in an effort to resolve the leadership crisis adding that Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Governor of Sokoto state and Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum had summoned the extra ordinary meeting of the forum.
The National Working Committee of the PDP has also been involved in finding lasting solution to the leadership imbroglio as a meeting of the committee held between Monday and Tuesday.
The Party’s National Executive Council ( NEC) is expected to meet on Thursday.
