
Women on Wednesday morning filed to the premises of an Owerri High Court to demand justice for their fellow woman, Chinyenre Lilian Amuchinwa Igwegbe
The women also demanded the stepping aside of the Presiding Judge, Justice I. G Chuwunyere saying that they were not sure of her handling the case
Leader of the women,Mrs Mercy Agulana told newsmen that they were at the court premises to show solidarity to their fellow woman whose rights have been” infringed on”
She said Ohakim must make himself available for justice adding that the former governor had brought shame on himself
for such act.
The protest prompted a halt to the day’s sitting
Amuchinwa – Igwegbe had filed a N500million fraud suit against the former governor.
