Catholic Archbishop calls for immediate rescue of abducted priest 

The Catholic Archbishop of Kaduna Diocese,Most Rev. Matthew Ndagoso has called on security agencies to facilitate the immediate release of kidnapped priest, Rev. Father Anthony Dawa and three others.

Fr Dawa was abducted by gunmen who stormed Saint Pius catholic church at Kushe Makaranta,in Kagarko Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday morning.

The gunmen also abducted the wife and son of the catechist of the parish and one other person.in their homes.

The cleric who made the call on Wednesday,while speaking to newsmen urged government to be more responsive to the growing challenge of insecurity in the country.
