
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC says it will demand assets declaration forms from bankers across the country from June 1, 2021.
The Chairman of the Agency,Aldulrasheed Bawa said this while addressing State House Correspondents after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, in Abuja.
Bawa explained that the development came as a
result of roles of financial institutions in the fight against corruption, said the agency would ensure that all bankers in the country complied with the directive
” We will do our best to ensure that this country is free of economic and financial crimes” he assured.
