The Diocese of Etche in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State says it has produced the best quality plantain flour for local consumption and export.
Speaking with current matters on the production, the investment Manager,Rev.Jomo Onwuli said the plantain flour is NAFDAC certified after going through the agency’s inspection, testing and registration.

The statement said those living in Etche and environs could get their packs packs at the Bishop’s office at Okomoko-Etche while special arrangements could be made for others living outside Rivers.
Etcheland where the plantain flour is produced, is a leader of plantation for plantain and other foods.
The local government with vast arable land is prided as the food basket of the state producing only the best quality cassava products -garri, fufu, tapioca,, and also best in palm oil production and vegetables.
