Armed men have kidnapped students of Government Secondary School Jangbe in Talata- Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The gunmen reportedly stormed the school around 1.a.m on Friday and abducted unspecified number of students
On December 15,2020, the Zamfara State Government ordered the immediate closure of ten schools located along border towns vulnerable to attacks.
The development followed the abduction of 300 students of Government Science Secondary School,Kangara in Katsina State.
The attack on the Jangbe students comes more than two weeks after a similar incident occurred in Kagara in Rafi local government area of Niger state.
