An Uyo Magistrate Court on Thursday granted the Principal of Deeper life High School Uyo Mrs Ndidi Solomon, and six others in the sum N500,000 each in case of alleged assault of an 11 year-old former student of the school.
Two students who were involved in the case were also released.
The release followed a bail application by the counsel to the defendants upon which the Magistrate granted bail and released the two minors to their parents.
He then adjourned hearing to 20 th January 2021.
The Principal and others are facing four count charge of sexual molestation, maltreatment, starvation and negligence.
An 11 year-old former student of the school had recounted his ordeal in the hands of staff and students of the school which included starvation, sexual abuse, and bullying.
